Significant Achievement by Prof. Liu Zeng and Prof. Zhang Jiahan’s Team Published in Top Optics Journal Laser & Photonics Reviews

蘑菇视频, Professor Liu Zeng and Professor Zhang Jiahan from the School of Electronic Information Engineering at 蘑菇视频, in collaboration with the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Key Laboratory of Intelligent Communication Sensing and Signal Processing, published an important research paper in the top-tier optics journal Laser & Photonics Reviews (Impact Factor: 10.0, CAS Q1, Top in Optics). The paper is titled:

“Artificial Interfacial Quasi-Electric Field: A Pathway to Promote Ga?O? Photodetectors”

Research Highlights

This study pioneers the use of an artificial interfacial quasi-electric field as a novel strategy to enhance the performance of Ga?O?-based photodetectors, a promising material for next-generation solar-blind ultraviolet detection. By precisely engineering the interfacial field within the device structure, the research effectively boosts:

  • Carrier separation efficiency

  • Response speed

  • Photoresponsivity

This approach addresses long-standing challenges in the Ga?O? optoelectronics field and provides a new design paradigm for high-performance, wide-bandgap photodetectors.
